With a focus on sustainability and developing a skill for life, our new Textiles Club will introduce you to the world of sewing on machines, making your own clothes and upcycling fabrics into new designs.

Run by Colette Llewellyn, seamstress and

ex-WBH mum, the children will learn about machine sewing, how to use commercial sewing patterns, and also have the chance to express their own creative flair with upcycling projects using fabrics bought from charity shops and/or saved from landfill.

Open to any Senior pupil interested in sewing.

No prior sewing machine experience needed.

Colette has previous experience teaching sewing to children and to some ex-WBH parents; and she also runs her own local business selling handmade (sewn) creations, and likes to make clothes for herself and her children too.
